S.B ENGG. WORKS ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the S.B ENGG. WORKS Mood Journal Android application accesses, uses, stores and handles information.

S.B ENGG. WORKS Mood Journal is designed primarily as an offline journaling and mood-tracking application.

The application does not require users to create an online account and is designed to keep journal information locally on the user's Android device unless the user intentionally exports or shares content.

Information Used by the App

Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may locally process information such as:

• Journal titles and journal text
• Selected moods and custom moods
• Categories and tags
• Favorites, pinned entries and archived entries
• Journal dates and writing statistics
• Name, age, gender and personalization preferences entered during setup
• Selected tracked activities
• Monthly writing goals
• Photos selected by the user
• Voice recordings created through the journal voice-note feature
• Reminder settings
• Theme and appearance preferences
• Locally configured PIN and app-lock settings

This information is used to provide the application's journal, mood tracking, search, calendar, insights, reminders, personalization, backup and related features.

Local Storage

Journal information is primarily stored locally on the user's device.

Journal records are stored using local application storage and database functionality. Photos and voice notes used by the journal may be copied to application-controlled local storage.

The app does not require journal content to be uploaded to a S.B ENGG. WORKS server for normal operation.

Microphone Access

If you choose to create a voice note, the app may request permission to access your device microphone.

Microphone access is used only for the voice-note feature initiated by the user.

Audio recorded through this feature is stored locally for use within the journal unless you intentionally export or share content.

The app does not continuously listen to or record microphone audio in the background for advertising or analytics purposes.

Photos and Media

If you choose to attach a photo to a journal entry, the app may allow you to select media available on your device.

Selected images are used only to provide the photo-attachment feature and may be copied to private application storage.

The app does not automatically upload selected photos to our servers.

Notifications

The app may request notification permission on supported Android versions.

Notifications are used for journal reminders that you configure.

You may disable notifications through the app settings or Android system settings.

PIN and Biometric Authentication

If you enable App Lock, the application may use a locally configured PIN.

The app stores a derived representation of the PIN rather than intentionally storing the PIN as plain text.

Where supported, biometric authentication is handled using Android's biometric authentication system. The app does not receive or store your fingerprint, face template or other biometric template.

Data Sharing

S.B ENGG. WORKS does not sell journal information.

The application is not designed to transmit journal information to advertising networks, analytics providers or a remote journaling server.

Information may leave the application when you deliberately use Android sharing, export, backup, PDF, CSV or similar functionality.

Once you export or share a file, the destination application, storage provider or recipient may handle that information according to its own privacy practices.

Local Backup and Export

The app may allow you to create local backup or export files, including formats such as JSON, CSV or PDF.

These actions are initiated by the user.

Exported files may be stored outside the app's private storage and may therefore be accessible to other applications, storage services or people depending on where you choose to save or share them.

Exported files should be stored securely by the user.

Internet and Third-Party Services

The current app design does not rely on a remote journal server, Firebase, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK for its journal functionality.

If future versions introduce an online service, analytics, advertising or another third-party service that changes how user information is handled, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosures will be updated accordingly.

Security

We use Android platform features and application-private storage mechanisms to help protect locally stored information.

If App Lock is enabled, PIN or supported biometric authentication can provide an additional access-control layer.

However, no device or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Users should keep their device secured and should protect any journal backup or export files they create.

Data Retention

Journal data remains locally on the device until you:

• Delete individual entries;
• Use an available erase/reset function;
• Clear the application's storage through Android settings; or
• Uninstall the application.

Files that you previously exported or shared are separate from the app's internal storage and may remain in their destination location until you delete them yourself.

Data Deletion

The application provides local controls for deleting journal information.

Users may delete individual entries and may use the application's available data-reset or erase functionality to remove locally stored journal information.

Uninstalling the application normally removes its private application data from the device, subject to Android's system behavior.

Files manually exported outside the application's private storage must be deleted separately by the user.

Because the application does not provide an online account, there is no cloud account that users need to request S.B ENGG. WORKS to delete.

Children's Privacy

S.B ENGG. WORKS Mood Journal is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.

If the application's intended audience or functionality changes, we will review and update the relevant Google Play Families and privacy requirements.

Health and Medical Disclaimer

S.B ENGG. WORKS Mood Journal is intended for personal journaling, organization and self-reflection.

The application is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

Information shown by the app, including mood history and journal insights, should not be considered medical advice.

For medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, users should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's functionality, data practices or applicable requirements change.

Any updated policy will display a revised effective date.
